My father in law, Elmer Renner was on the August 1st flight and had an absolutly wonderfull time. It was a tremendous experience not just for him, but me as well. It was my honor to be among such heroes. Thanks to all at Honor Flight Chicago and supporters in DC. What a well run operation it was!!

I was one of the sailors that had the honor to take part in the arrival of these veterans to Midway airport. It was amazing and I'm willing to do it again

My Dad, Ted Malhosky, was on the Honor Flight on Aug. 1st. He said the whole experience was unbelievable. He could not get over the number of volunteers that make this day possible. He said they were some of the nicest people he has ever met. He was also amazed by the crowds that showed up at the airport to welcome them home. A great big heartfelt THANK YOU to all involved. what a wonderful thing you are doing!!
