On April 13, 2016 as the 69th. Group of 50 WWII & 61 Korean War Vets going to Washington D.C. to
see our Memorials ,this was a 'once in my lifetime" experience that will live with me the rest of my days . Thank you Honor Flight Chicago and all you wonderful "Volunteers" who made this 1 day trip so enjoyable and awe inspiring. Seeing the Korea War Memorial and my Uncle's name Cpl. Edward J. Cebula who was killed on 'Heartbreak Ridge' Sept.25,1951 was my moment of 'Pride & Sorrow' that I was able to see for myself the honor that was bestowed upon him for his Supreme Sacrifice.
Thank you again "Honor Flight Chicago" for allowing this old Korean Veteran a bit of closure in his old days !
